The information provided below can be found on the Commission's website. Pre-License Requirements - All applicants for a Florida sales associate's (salesperson) license must: |

Successfully complete an approved
sales pre-license real estate course of at least 63 hours (course is valid for
licensure for two years from the course completion date). |

- |
Pass the end of course exam with a
grade of least 70% (if the final exam grade is lower, you must wait at least 30
days to retake the exam - end of course exams are administered on line). |

- |
Submit (after passing the course exam)
a completed Real Estate Sales Associate Package, electronic fingerprint card
(effective July 1, 2006), and appropriate fee. |

Pass the Florida Real Estate Sales Associate Examination with a grade of at
least 75% or pass the Real Estate Law Examination (for non-Florida residents) with a
grade of at least 75%. |

Submit a completed RE 2050
form to activate the license, otherwise the license is issued in an inactive
status. If you want to immediately begin working as a sales associate, submit
the completed RE 2050 form at the examination site. Otherwise, submit the RE
2050 form to the Division of Real Estate. |

Post-License Requirements - All initial licensees (whether active or inactive) must: |

Successfully complete an approved
post-license real estate course of at least 45 hours, prior to the first renewal
of the initial sales associate's license. |

Pass the end of course exam with a grade of least 75% (if
the final exam grade is lower, you must wait at least 30 days to retake the exam
- end of course exams are administered on line). |

Broker Pre-License Requirements - All applicants for a Florida
broker's license must: |

Be an active sales associate with a
minimum of 12 months experience during the 5 years preceding becoming licensed
as a broker (experience in other states may count toward this requirement) Note:
Florida sales associates must complete the post-license requirements. |

Successfully complete an approved
broker pre-license real estate course of at least 72 hours (course is valid for
licensure for two years from the course completion date). |

Pass the end of course exam with a
grade of least 70% (if the final exam grade is lower, you must wait at least 30
days to retake the exam - end of course exams are administered online. |

- |
Submit (after passing the course exam)
a completed Real Estate Broker Package, electronic fingerprint card, and
appropriate fee. |

Pass the Florida Real Estate Broker Examination with a grade of at least 75% or
pass the Real Estate Law Examination with a grade of at least 75%. |

Submit a completed RE 2050
form to activate the license, otherwise the license is issued in an inactive

Broker Post License Requirements |

post-license real estate course of at least 60 hours, prior to the first renewal
of the initial sales associate's license. Completion of the 30 hour management
and 30 hour investment courses meet the total 60 hour requirement. |

the final exam grade is lower, you must wait at least 30 days to retake the exam
- end of course exams are administered on line). |

All Brokers and Sales Associates are required to complete 14 hours of approved course work every 2 year renewal period. |
